For nearly two months, from 10 October to 6 December 2026, white truffles take over Alba's old town. You can sample them at tasting counters, browse the market stalls and follow a programme of cultural events built around them. Things open on 9 October at 5.30pm with a free inauguration at the Teatro Sociale. Now in its 96th edition, the fair is run by the Ente Fiera del Tartufo Bianco.
