Activation plans for your municipality.
An activation plan covers the work of putting your municipality's spaces online: a site visit or a remote procedure, photos, bilingual texts and publication on Rural Pop-Up. It is purchased on MePA (AcquistinretePA), like any other service for the public administration.

Booking System
Automatic bookings with PagoPA.
We're building a booking system with automatic payments through PagoPA, the official channel of Italian Public Administration. This option comes with a monthly fee, to cover the payments infrastructure and automatic reconciliation.
What changes with PagoPA
- Automatic payments tracked through the official PA channel
- Fiscal receipts generated and archived automatically
- Automatic bank reconciliation for the municipality's treasury
Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)
Any public space owned by the municipality that is worth opening up to the community: private individuals, companies and associations.
In particular, our project focuses on spaces for:
- Medium to large events (sports, concerts, retreats and corporate activities, etc.)
Multi-purpose halls, squares, parks and scenic viewpoints. - Small and medium events (courses, leisure activities, exhibitions, parties, etc.)
Multi-purpose halls, gardens, offices, vegetable gardens and picnic areas. - Hospitality Accommodation, hostels, hotels, campsites and picnic / equipped areas.
- Food and drink bars, restaurants, old premises, games rooms, etc.
- Sport sports fields, equipped sports areas, MTB trails, special routes,
- Kids swimming pools, adventure parks, sledging slopes, playgrounds, green areas
- Crafts (digital too) workshops, sawmills, small buildings, sheds, disused factories, etc.
- Remote work offices, meeting rooms, coworking spaces, etc.
- Historic places falling into disrepair castles, churches and places that need public involvement and awareness.
- Small businesses about to close, with the resulting risk of losing local services.
We know these things happen and nobody likes them: trouble caused by heavy drinking, broken glass and doors, things that " go missing", or simply noise disturbing the peace of a small village.
We don't have a magic wand and we're not private investigators, BUT -for every booking- we contact the municipality to confirm the rules and what each space may be used for .
In short, we make sure responsibility lies with whoever should bear it, and there is always an agreement that sets out the arrangements between welance and the end user: everything in black and white!
Since then we have supported ourselves in two ways: by bringing new municipalities on board with our activation plans, and through a commission on successful bookings, paid by the renter.
We ask the municipality to choose an activation plan and to set aside about two hours to show us its spaces and for an interview. Space prices are indicative (“from … €”) and can change with the number of guests, the conditions and the season. They normally include Rural Pop-Up's 30% mediation fee, due only for bookings that go ahead: it covers communication and preparation with the municipality, which is why we ask for at least 10 days' notice for visits and events.
We believe in transparency, because we use public funding and will help manage publicly owned spaces. You can take a peek at the documents we work with, where we note down everything about the project, including the more technical details.
