The Castle of Magliano Alfieri stands in a once strategic position. Its imposing architecture dominates the Tanaro valley, the natural border between the Langhe and Roero, making it visible from the first villages of the lower Langa.
Among the numerous rooms inside the structure, the Salone degli Stemmi (Hall of Coats of Arms) stands out for its importance and grandeur. The hall occupies the central tower of the castle and is covered by a pavilion vault where it is possible to admire a high relief plaster stucco decoration - a Baroque phenomenon of great importance widespread in Piedmontese cities between the 17th and 18th centuries.
