The Montalupa Park covers a flat area of over 5000 square metres, immersed in the unspoilt nature of the Pocapaglia municipality. Crossed by the picturesque La Gera stream, which gushes out from the suggestive Rocche di Pocapaglia, the park is easily accessible thanks to an asphalted road that connects the entrance with the Alba-Bra tourist route, only 1.5 km away. Moreover, it is a privileged access point to the famous paths of the Rocche del Roero.
The result of a collaboration between the municipality of Pocapaglia and numerous local associations, the project aims to enhance the park as a naturalistic oasis, making it accessible and usable for all ages and for people with different abilities. A network of level paths, created with specific paving, guarantees a safe experience even for those with visual or motor limitations, leading to areas equipped with innovative sports facilities connected via Wi-Fi and equipped with QR codes for interactive instructions.
The park is designed to offer unique experiences, such as orienteering, thanks to tactile tiles describing local flora and fauna, promoting multi-sensory exploration. New toilets and accessible parking, combined with the presence of refreshment facilities in the nearby hamlet of Macellai, complete the offer, making the park a perfect place for tourists, families, sports enthusiasts and all those who wish to experience nature in an authentic and inclusive way.
