    On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November 2026, rally cars take to the hills around Canelli for the 29th running of the Ronde. The race starts and finishes in town, with special stages held on local roads closed to traffic. Motorsport fans can watch the drivers battle through the bends of the Asti countryside.     Canelli, Piazza Cavour e Piazza Gancia

    Starting 22 November 2026, Piazza Cavour and Piazza Gancia in Canelli fill with market stalls every week. The town council runs the market, and traders sell a mix of goods, so it suits a slow browse from one stall to the next. Plan to park somewhere else: while the stalls are up, driving and parking in both squares are restricted.
