A few steps away from the Horszowski auditorium stands the majestic Palazzo Scarampi, built on the spot where the ancient castle once stood. This large building has undergone numerous renovations and restorations following the conquests and damage caused by successive noble families. The Del Carrettos rebuilt it after 1706, with the last restoration dated 1833, which gave the palace its current splendour.

Today, the palace's interior spaces frequently host art and photography exhibitions, further enriching the area's cultural panorama. A place where history, art and beauty come together in a unique and evocative setting.

Auditorium Horszowski

The ancient village square, dominated by the majestic bell tower, is the historical heart of Monforte d'Alba. The mighty Romanesque tower is the only surviving element of the pre-existing medieval church, demolished in the early 20th century. Recently transformed into an auditorium, the square was named after the famous pianist Horszowski, who inaugurated its opening in 1986. The atmosphere here is unique, charming and timeless. In the evening, the soft light and silence of the ancient walls embrace the place, creating an ideal stage for fascinating events.
