A pretty little square in front of the church with a breathtaking view of the Monregalese valleys, the Clavesana hills and the Alpine arc.

It has a picnic table with benches, located under a vine pergola.

The small square is paved and spacious, the panoramic provincial road passes in front and next to it is a lovely agriturismo with rooms open by reservation. We are about 2.5 km from the town centre.

Impianti Sportivi - Campo Tennis e Sferisterio

Clavesana (CN), Piemonte

Within the sports area by the Tanaro river, there are two courts once used for Tennis and Pallapugno in a state of semi-abandonment. The courts are damaged by time and neglect but still usable. Between them a green lawn expands their square footage. They are fenced and equipped with benches, the toilets are functional as the adjacent football pitch is currently used and maintained by the Clavesana Calcio Sports Association. Extraordinary maintenance work is needed, and the public administration is willing to put the area under multi-year management. However, for large-scale events, the area can be used immediately.

An ancient watchtower in the walls of the fortress of Clavesana, now restored and embellished with a small belvedere flowerbed overlooking the inlets of the Tanaro river. It is a masonry construction located on the road leading to the main town, with a small iron door and open windows. Two flights of internal wooden stairs lead up to the roof, where you can peer out over the horizon. The interior spaces are small but pretty. A very picturesque place. To the right of the entrance, a flowerbed with benches leads to the old Praetorian Register, the view can be enjoyed by looking out from the little wall protecting the fortress.

Piazzetta Surie

Clavesana (CN), Piemonte

Travelling along the scenic road from Clavesana towards Murazzano, you come to this small hamlet about 10 km from the town centre. All the houses have been abandoned but the characteristic little square in front of the church of Sant'Anna, known for its two bell towers, remains accessible and available for use. It is a widening adjacent to the road, bordered by the walls of old farmsteads, level and paved. The parish church is very beautiful and just behind it, the consortium of local winegrowers has recovered the premises of the former primary schools to use it as a tasting room and location for planned events.
